Anyone other active/retired military?

I understand your pain. I dont think either branch is better than the other. The length of the boot camp is designed for each branch. Some AIT, A Schools, Tech Schools, or whatever you wish to call them are taught by one branch for all branches, SERE, AIRBORNE, some COMMO and ENGINEER schools.
