What will happen if i change my strings .10-46 from .11-48?

i'm changing my original epiphone strings two ernie ball power slinky s,what will happen?will my neck get damaged and will i be able to tune to standard? its because i will be playing in Eb tuning.is it good for that tuning? lol thanks
