Please tell me this isnt true..????

i was reading lots of bad reviews about the pet store i bought my dog from (rufus & company in paramus, nj). many of the reviews said that pet stores, like the ones in malls, get their puppies from mills. when i bought my dog i was told she came from a very respectable breeder and they gave me all of her paperwork, her family tree etc. i was just wondering if it was true that those stores get their puppies form the mills
