String action on a semi hollow body should feel higher like an acoustic or lower like an electric?

I just got myself a Sheraton II Epiphone and I'm kind of wondering if I should lower the bridge a bit (tune o matic). The action almost feels higher than my acoustic. I've never played an electric or semi acoustic before so I'm clueless. Should I measure it at the 12th fret and try to find the Epiphone specifications? Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.
