How is the life in Riyadh?Please help seriously?

Westerners (American & Brits) take on 3-year contracts. The pay is good, no taxes, cost of living is low, paid vacation every six months, housing is supplied, segregated in western compounds apart from the locals. But nearly everyone is ready to get out after six months. Even the Pakistanis find the austere public lifestyle difficult to adapt to. For someone from India, who knows? 11,000 riyals a month is close to $3,000 US a month. You can live comfortably enough on that in Riyadh.
